City of Antioch Sesquicentennial
The City of Antioch Sesquicentennial is the 150 year celebration of the City of Antioch. During this celebration, a tremendous amount of events were planned for the year of 2022.
The event was headed by Michael Gabrielson and Joy Motts of the Celebrate Antioch Foundation with support from the City of Antioch themselves.
During my time at Print Club, I worked directly with Michael and Joy to create the promotional material for the Main Sesquicentennial advertisement as well as the fliers for most of the individual Sesquicentennial Events.
This included creation of tri-folds, banners, fliers, postcards, marquee ads, web ads, coroplast signs, bus back wraps, and other materials.
The main promotional image for the Sesquicentennial is above, and was created around 2-3 months before the start of 2022. I took the photograph featured in the background and used provided logos for the Sesquicentennial
(from the City of Antioch) and the Celebrate Antioch Foundation Logo (provided by CAF). Below are several variations of the main promotional image.
During my time working on the Sesquicentennial, I was also assigned to work on a Calendar featuring paintings from Antioch citizens celebrating the history of the City.
The Calendar was printed and spiral bound by hand at Print Club.
