Delta Veterans Group

The Delta Veterans Group is an organization located in the California Bay Area who specialize in providing aid and support to local veterans, as well as organizing events to celebrate the legacy of our United States Veterans. During my time working at Print Club, I worked on numerous projects for the veterans group. The largest and most important of all the projects was the Veterans Blvd Project.

Veterans Blvd Project

The Veterans Blvd Project's purpose is to convert three empty lots along L Street in Antioch, California, into a Veterans Memorial Park, beautifying the road that leads to the existing Veteran Memorial at the end of the street, in the Marina. The park would exist as a informational location and a place to honor our soldiers who gave their lives in past wars, featuring monuments to every major historic U.S. war. The Park consists of a parking lot, and two park lots.

At the time, I was working as an unpaid intern for Jason Jeremy, my boss and owner of Print Club, when I was comissioned by his father, Pat Jeremy (the VP of the DVG) to put together a presentation to visualize their goals, to then be presented to the Antioch City Council in hopes of project approval. During production of the presentation, I created an isometric concept piece of what the park could look like, as well as a rough edit of existing empty lots in a before-and-after style photo. The final edition of the slide show was 17 slides, and was presented to the City of Antioch City Counicl, in which the Veterans Blvd Park Project was approved.

The project also originally included a lane expansion for L Street to help improve traffic flow into the Rivertown area. The lane expansion was eventually dropped with a full focus on the Veterans Park developement.

Other DVG Projects

I also worked on a several other projects for the DVG while working at Print Club. Here are a couple others that are not related to the Veterans Blvd Project. Below are two banners I personally worked on for DVG events.
